Shared Parenting Bill

MN HF322

VIGIL at Governors Office/NEW KSTP TV Segment on 10pm news

Until and Unless Governor Dayton Signs HF322: Shared Parenting Bill, volunteers will be holding a Vigil at the Capitol for HF322 on both Wednesday and Thursday this week. Take time off work if you have to - the children are worth it.

This bill to increase presumptive parenting time from 25% to 35% time is STILL the ONLY bill left on Governor Dayton’s Desk.

VIGIL DETAILS:

Wednesday we will meet at noon in the Capitol and be indoors until 5:00 p.m. At 5:00 p.m. we'll head onto the south Capitol steps until 8:00 p.m.

Thursday morning we'll meet at 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. in the Capitol and be indoors until 5:00 p.m. At 5:00 p.m. we'll head onto the south Capitol steps until Midnight Thursday when the bill will officially be dead if not signed by the Governor.

Bring plenty of quarters for parking meters.
Bring signs (no sticks allowed) that say “Please Sign HF322: FOR THE CHILDREN” or “Please Sign HF322: Kids Need Both Parents” or anything like that.
Bring pictures of your kids (blown up/enlarged to see better)
If you plan to be there contact Brian at 320-250-2354 for more information, detail, or make sure he is watching for you
If you don’t plan to attend, don’t tie up the phone line
